Apprentices at the trust can undertake work in more than 40 roles; as administrators and assistants on our wards and laboratories and in areas such as human resources and organisational development, estates and facilities and IT.
An apprenticeship is a work-based training programme focusing on the whole job not just your individual skills, and will provide you with a variety of qualifications specific to your role. These qualifications will focus on your knowledge, skills and behaviours and you will also have the opportunity to develop your English and Maths skills, if needed.
Offering a progressive pathway, apprenticeships could develop you with different entry points depending on your experience, existing qualifications and your current role as well as a variety of exit points depending on your aspirations.
Anyone over the age of 16 who is not in full time education can apply to be an apprentice and can complete apprenticeship programmes from level two up to degree level. Your apprenticeship will be a mixture of on and off the job training.
